Adan

For five hundred years, Adan has watched the women he loves grow older and disappear, while time leaves him untouched. Through European courts and New Orleans, through war, Jazz Age New York, and 1960s California, he carries the ache of a life that cannot end.

Then, in 2026, he meets Mariah. A forgotten melody. Familiar gestures. Dreams that seem to remember another life. What begins as recognition becomes a question that reaches across the centuries: has he been finding the same soul again and again?

Told in illustrated narrative free verse, Adan weaves gothic romance, historical fiction, supernatural mystery, and poetry into a story of love, grief, and mortality. Sensual, melancholy, and hopeful, it asks what remains of us—and what might find its way back.
